Trump admits to tariff costs as Democrats allege 'market manipulation'

Donald Trump insisted "everything will be beautiful in the end" but global stock markets are not so sure.

Financial turmoil has continued as investors show concern over a US trade war in China.

On top of that, Democrats are alleging that some people gained illegally from insider knowledge and a "Trump bump" when the US president announced a 90-day pause to tariffs, sparking a stock rally.
