In this au when Wangji bumped into Wuxian as children he gave him the toy, then brought his brother to come see him the next day, they gave him food and water, after a while they convinced their uncle to let him stay at cloud recess, Wangji became very close and attached to Wuxian, those close to the twin jades noticed that Wangji loved Wuxian, and since a Lan only falls in love once, the pair were given permission to engage

Both Wangji and Wuxian were happy to hear this, and LQ, and Lx were also happy since they both cared about the pair, but eventually Wangji’s love turned more into obsession, he was insanely jealous whenever someone approached Wuxian, LQ and LX saw what was happening but they didn’t dare intervene

Wangji moved Wuxian away from everyone once they were married, Wuxian spent the majority of his day alone with their bunnies, and then Wangji would return from his duties, then repeat, though Wuxian never once complained as he loved Wangji and would do anything to keep him happy

They adopted a child, this helped Wuxian fill his time with something other than waiting for his husband to return for the day

Wuxian has no connection to the Jiang clan

Knows about his parents
Is thankful and appreciative towards LQ
His personality is mostly the same, but he is more rational and patient
Still doesn’t follow all of the rules
Doesn’t hold a grudge or any bad will against LW and he tries to calm his jealousy



Lan Wangji

He largely acts the same, but he shows more emotions and doesn’t mind bending a few rules
Knows that hiding LY away is selfish but he was getting quite scared about how angry he was feeling and he was worried what he would do
Loves spending time with LY

Lan Xichen

Is appreciative of LY for helping his brother show more emotion
Has always considered LY family do then he officially became family he was overjoyed
Worries for Wangji’s mental state
Mostly acts the same as original

Lan Qiren

Despite his feelings towards LY’s family, he couldn’t help but feel pity got the young boy
Treats LY well and acts like he’s mad when LY does certain things but he isn’t actually
Was hesitant to allow LW and LY to engage, but LX convinced him and now he is glad he allowed it
Acts mostly different than original towards LY, he can’t bring himself to be annoyed at him
