I've been super pumped for this show ever since I saw the adaptation announced. Eminence in Shadow is genuinely one of my favorite series I'm reading, it's such a fun read and the anime has been awesome so far. Of course, in the lead up to its debut, I was keeping my eye on what the opening would be, and when I heard OxT, I was sold. And the name "Highest" just fits so perfectly. I was so hype when we got the trailer where we heard the song for the first time. I poured every last drop of edge from my teenage years into adapting and performing this cover, and I think it turned out better for it.

If you're not watching this show, do yourself a favor and fix that. It's a genuinely phenomenal adaptation. An absolute joy to watch. The portrayal of Cid is wonderful and the setup and execution of comedic moments is flawless. Absolutely worth the watch.
