New Sketchbook - Gouache Mini Portraits

I finally got around to using a mixed media sketchbook I had purchased and made my first spread a gouache painting of two characters I have, Aneka and Orion.
I challenged myself by only using three colours plus black and white for the portraits, mixing up the colours for skin, hair, eyes, and shading from that limited selection.
This showcases my work and process in timelapse with discussion on what I did and why I did so
