Open the file NP_PPT16_CS3-4a_FirstLastName_1.pptx, available for
download from the SAM website. Save the file as NP_PPT16_CS3-4a_FirstLastName_2.pptx by changing the “1” to a “2”. If you do not see the .pptx file extension in the Save As dialog box, do not type it. The program will add the file extension for you automatically. To complete this Project, you will also need to download and save the following support files from the SAM website:

PROJECT STEPS
Fit 2&4U produces protein shakes for all ages and fitness levels. The company is currently rolling out a new line of whey protein drinks, and you are developing a presentation to highlight them. To engage viewers in the company’s new line of shake flavors, you add dynamic animation to a photo on the first slide. On Slide 1 (“Fit 2&4U”), add an animation to the drinks picture as follows:
a. Apply the Teeter Emphasis animation to the drinks picture.
b. Change the Duration setting to 00.50.
c. Set the animation’s Start setting to After Previous.
2. On Slide 2 (“What Is Fitness?”), create a hyperlink from the text “Your ability” to Slide 5. Health Fitness Is Personal, and then test the hyperlink.
3. With Slide 2 still displaying, customize the theme colors to change the hyperlink colors as follows:
a. Change the Hyperlink color to Blue, Hyperlink Darker 25% (11th column, 5th row of the Theme Colors palette).
b. Change the Followed Hyperlink color to Gray-25%, Text 2, Darker 50%(4th column, 4th row of the Theme Colors palette). (Hint: Depending on your version of office, the color name may display as Light Gray, Text 2, Darker 50% instead.)
4.On Slide 3 (“Our Shakes”), modify the bottom bar chart (“Cost per Ounce”) as follows:
a. Apply the Style 2 chart style from the Chart Styles gallery to the chart.
b. Edit the chart data by changing the cost of Wild Cat Proteins from $1.79 to $1.55 in cell B4.
5. With Slide 3 still displaying, type the Alt text description Shakes for your lifestyle for the picture.
6. On Slide 4 (“Why Whey Anyway?”), format the SmartArt as follows:
a. Change the SmartArt color to Colorful - Accent Colors.
b. Apply the Moderate Effect SmartArt style.
c. Add a new shape to the end of the SmartArt, and then type the text Proven effective in the new shape. The font should be set to 18 pt.
7. With Slide 4 still displaying, animate the SmartArt graphic as follows:
a. Apply theShape Entrance animation to the SmartArt graphic.
b. Apply the Out Direction effect option.
8. On Slide 5 (“Health Fitness Is Personal”), create and format a chart in the left content placeholder as follows:
a. Create a Doughnut Pie chart with the data shown in Table 1 below.

b. Apply the Style 3 chart style from the Chart Styles gallery to the pie chart.
9. With Slide 5 still displaying, insert the Vertical Picture Accent List SmartArt layout in the right content placeholder as shown in Figure 1 below.

10. With Slide 5 still displaying, format the SmartArt as follows:
In the first shape, insert the picture Support_NP_PPT16_CS3-4a_Goals.jpg, available for download from the SAM website, and then type the text Goals as the caption.
b. In the second shape, insert the picture Support_NP_PPT16_CS3-4a_Health.jpg, available for download from the SAM website, and then type the text Health as the caption.
c. In the third shape, insert the picture Support_NP_PPT16_CS3-4a_Performance.jpg, available for download from the SAM website, and then type the text Performance as the caption.
d. Apply the Intense Effect style to the SmartArt.
e. Change the SmartArt color to Colorful Range - Accent Colors 3 to 4.
11. On Slide 6 (“Our Formula for Success”), add an animation to the “Fast shipping” rounded rectangle shape as follows:
a. Apply the Shapes Motion Paths animation to the “Fast shipping”rounded rectangle shape.
b. Change the shape of the animation to Hexagon.
12. On Slide 7 (“Always Try Before You Buy!”), insert and format a shape as follows:
a. On the right side of the slide, insert a Trapezoid shape from the Basics Shapes section of the Shapes gallery.
b. Resize the shape to a height of 4.2" and a width of 3".
c. Fill the shape with the Canvas texture, available in the Fill section of the Shape Options.
