Born March 10, 1952 Mbuta Mashakado, Dieudonné Samuel Mpoyo Nzolantima of his real name, embraced the musical career in 1969 within the Zaïko Langa-Langa orchestra as a pop singer. This after studies at the Athénée de Kalina (Gombe), the Athénée de Saint Jean in Lingwala, Mbanza-Ngungu and Nkamba in Bas-Congo.
A good dancer and choreographer within the group, he was pushed to take the microphone in 1974 in so-called typical music alongside Jossart Nyoka Longo, Bimi Ombale, Likinga Redo and other Lengi-Lenga.
This following the departure of the singer's Papa Wemba, Evoloko Jocker, Mavuela Somo and Bozi Boziana who left to create the Isifi Lokole orchestra. “Yaya Brown” as his admirers called him was noted at that time with the song “Belly Mashakado” which was a hit.

A true showman, Mbuta Mashakado was called with Jossart Nyoka Longo in the Orchester National du Zaire (Onaza) which, under the direction of Tabu Ley Rochereau, participated in 1977 at the Festival des Arts Négresse (Festac 77) in Lagos, Nigeria.
When he left Zaïko Langa-Langa, Mbuta played from 1976 to 1977 in the Yoka Lokole group before returning to the first orchestra, Zaïko Langa Langa in 1978. Three years later, the singer went to Caen, France, where he evolved for a short time with the "Mandinga" orchestra. In the same year 1981 until 1986, Mashakado suspended his musical career to follow training in Refrigeration and Electricity abroad.
Back home, he created his own company called Froidet. Mbuta Mashakado was called in 1987 to join Zaïko Familia Dei, whom he left two years later to try a solo career.

In 1992, the singer went to Switzerland and then to France as part of this solo career. It was at this time that he decided to break with musk. He went to perform his services in the Label Print company where he rose through the ranks to occupy the position of Technical Director until his death.
Having received the call of God. Dieudonne Samuel was totally converted and had since devoted his life to serving the Lord in his own way, after having followed the teachings for that. Engaged in politics, Mbuta Mashakado exercised until his death the functions of president of the Kinshasa Interfederal in the MPCR, the party of Jean-Claude Vuemba.
