There is a bug in the Snapon Scanner that will corrupt or damage the Occupant module on newer Toyota Vehicles unless you install the patch to fix the problem. This applies to snapon scanners using 17.4 and 18.2 software. There may be other versions with bugs as well so it would be best to check for update even if you are running a different version. This probable affects all of the scanners from snapon ( Ethos tech, ethos edge, Solus pro, Solus Ultra, Solus Edge, Apollo, Modis Ultra, Modis Edge, Verdict, Verus D10. Verus Pro and the Zeus ).
