NEW DIY 3DOF COMPACT MOTION SIMULATOR - 12V ARDUINO IBT-2 TRACTION LOSS DO IT YOURSELF Episode 1

Hi guys, this is my new design of the 3DOF motion simulator for racing and flying games for compact spaces like apartments or small spaces. Redesigned for DD or Direct Drive wheels like DD1 CSLDD and others. In this video I go over the new design and some of the materials needed. We are using the Arduino to control the ITB motor controllers and 12v 50:1 crab pot puller motors which I have been using for the past 3 years on my 3 dof racing simulator. Features like traction loss and VR will add to the immersion also remote mounting for the buttkicker gamer 2's and a better TH8a shifter mount. take a look This is an all new design and welcome your feedback!

Jazzy Wheelchair motors on Ebay.. Since Ebay links change all the time, just search for Jazzy Wheelchair motors. There are a few different kinds. Just look for the ones in the video for reference. They cost me $65 for both plus $20 shipping.

other motor controllers you could consider using are JRK12V12 or Sabertooth but I use IBT-2's

XSIMULATOR forum - Info specifically for arduino/IBT-2 for 1 to 3 Motors. You can use up to three motors per arduino. But you each motor needs it's own IBT-2 controller.
