The City of Johannesburg Council has yet another Speaker. This comes after Congress of the People member, Colleen Makhubele was elected into that position yesterday afternoon. Makhubele received 141 votes, defeating DA’s Alex Christians.
Coalitions have proven to be chaotic in the major municipalities in Gauteng. Are these developments in Johannesburg a sign of possible changes in other metros such as Tshwane and Ekurhuleni?
