Dr. Stephanie Lynch recently finished her PhD at La Trobe University. Stephanie has a veterinary background, as she started out studying a Bachelor in Animal & Veterinary Bioscience before continuing her PhD exploring phage therapy as a therapeutic option for Staphylococcus pseudintermedius infections in canines. For this PHAVES talk, she will talk about the use of phages and endolysins against Staphylococcus pseudintermedius, a bacterium that is involved in canine skin infections. She will also talk about the development of an in vivo model system for phage therapy trials.
