1JZ/2JZ Crank Pulley DIY (EASY) |JZX90|JZX100|IS300|SC300

Aside from cooling hoses, the crank pulley on our JZs should be one of the first things to replace before you hoon around. There have also been cases of failure while idling

Timing cover does not have to come off, I just took care of the timing belt while I was there and I'll upload that video soon

Crank pulley torque specs from what I've seen online seem to range from 240-250ft/lbs but if you have the Fluidampr, if I remember correctly they had the spec rating in their instruction manual.

Can you reuse your crank pulley bolt? Yes. Experience may vary but I've yet to hear about any ill effects with reusing the bolt. Should you? No. Crank pulley bolts are designed to stretch when fitted. Considering how cheap they are, you should use a new 1JZ/2JZ Crank Pulley bolt.
