Uqdah is a historic tourist and agricultural village located in the west of Hail Region. It is one of the oldest populated areas in the region with history dates back to 2000 years. Situated in to the mount Aja, which connects the city of hail through a cross-mountain dividing corridor, Uqdah has some historical treasures including “Maqsorah Al Qanoon” which was built in 12th Century. Uqdah is also known as food basket of Hail for the diversity of its agricultural crops such as dates, mints, melons and pumpkins, grapes and pomegranates. In addition to farms, the village is also famous for falconry and honey production.
