We all came in expectation of almost sealing a place in next years Championship and as so often happens, Pompey turned in a below par performance. The first half was a shockingly bad reminder of early season struggles and causing our own problems. They wanted it more and it turned into frustration, petulance and bookings. A couple of changes at half time certainly improved the effort but quality was in short supply. We created only one chance of note which Connor contrived to head over when it seemed inevitable it would go in. Game over. Move on.
One last thing again though, the quality of the referee. I'm not sure we watch the same game sometimes but the consistency of decisions is shocking. Leeds next ... PuP!
