Randall Kaufmann's Timberline Emerger is another classic stillwater pattern and a must-have when Callibaetis mayflies are active and emerging. This, along with my Callibaetis Cruncher, are two patterns I always have on hand whenever there is a chance Callibaetis might be on the trout's menu.

Tail: Flue from the base of a Pheasant Rump Feather
Rib: Semperfli, Copper Wire
Body: Squirrel, Muskrat or Rabbit Dubbing, Grey
Hackle: Whiting Hebert Minor, Hen, Brown
Wings: Grizzly Hen or Saddle Hackle Tips
