Gillian Takes on Turkey | Her First SIV & Acro Experience!

This week on the Aviator Show, our very own instructor Gillian steps out of her comfort zone and into the skies of Oludeniz, Turkey! She joined a group of incredible women pilots at Free-Flight Academy to take on her very first SIV course—learning how to handle collapses, stalls, and even a taste of acro.

Flying an Ozone Kona 3 and mentored by the legendary Leah Catullo, Gillian pushed her limits with the support of a fearless female crew and world-class instructors. The goal? Conquer the SAT maneuver. After a few wild attempts, Gillian locked in and nailed it—proof that persistence pays off and growth lives just past the edge of fear.
