Showing how I point an Indian sandstone patio by hand using mortar and a mortar gun. If done correctly this method of pointing can last for many years. Since the resin jointing has come out a lot of mortar pointing has been forgotten about but it still has a place in modern construction. It is very simply to make a good mix using sand, cement and plasticiser and I cover all aspects of pointing a patio in this video.
