In this beginners guide tutorial video, I show you how to use the DayZ PC Mod "Vanilla Plus Plus Admin Tools" to edit the loot live on your server, using a map where you can see the actual locations of spawned items.
VPP V++ Admin not only allows you to be able to see where food, guns, ammo, animals and all other loot spawns, but in the XML part of the menu you can load in the types.xml settings, so you can adjust the nominal, min, max, restock, etc.
It's important to note that the changes you make are only applied on the restart of your server, so you will only see changes when you restart your community server and then login to Vanilla Plus Plus Admin, and then look at the map in the XML editor.
