St Brendan's Community School, Birr, and Oaklands Community College, Edenderry, took part in a developmental project for Cruinniú na nÓg with Offaly Libraries and Burning House Film Productions. These projects saw the students immerse themselves in every aspect of film-making, from acting and camera-work, to script-writing. St Brendan's Community School's film is entitled 'Peer Pressure, and Oaklands Community College's film is entitled 'You Matter'. These projects are funded by Creative Ireland.
