Claude Debussy (1862-1918) is one of the most famous French composer, who developed impressionism in classical music.
His Suite Bergamasque, originally for piano, is presented here on the harp in Emmanuel's own transcription. This 4th movement, "Passepied", calls for a lot of dotted articulations, a real challenge on the harp.
In this video, recorded in Burbank by Matthew Snyder and Thu-Nga Dan, Emmanuel Ceysson plays a Lyon and Healy 2023 custom made Red and Silver Salzedo.
