The Fender JMJ Mustang Bass already has lightweight tuners installed (which is what I’d usually modify first when experiencing significant neck dive).
Using some heavier volume & tone knobs, and a single strap lock button (which extends the balance point) has helped reduce the amount of neck dive on this bass, making it more comfortable to play when standing up with a strap.
It’s a quick and easy mod.
