In this video, we start off super early in the morning going out of Hudson, Florida in search for the "endangered" American Red Snapper. We chum up the flats and throw the cast net for pilchards, greenbacks, and pinfish. After successfully getting bait, we start our long journey offshore. The weatherman and windfinder all claimed there would be no wind all day and seas would be calm. We soon found out that couldn't be further from the truth. We pushed on as it got a little bit calmer around 40 miles offshore and we had set our minds on snapper. Once we got to the spot, the action was on. We were breaking fish off left and right, while also catching our limit. We also released our limit of gag groupers. The Rhodan trolling motor broke while out there and we tried to anchor with no success. I believe that was God telling us to head in. We headed in, with seas being 3-4 foot in a 22 foot boat it took us a long time. We stopped for some relief at a ledge in 50 feet and only found some gag groupers. We were ready to brave the seas again, and got back to the boat ramp safe. I show you filleting some fish, and call it a day. Thanks for watching!
