Aston Villa extended their winning streak to 11 matches as Unai Emery’s side came from behind to secure a 2–1 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

As the Premier League reaches its midway point, Villa sit third with 39 points, just three behind leaders Arsenal - who they face at the Emirates on Tuesday.

Unai Emery showcased his tactical sharpness in the second half, introducing Jadon Sancho and Ollie Watkins and deploying a “funnel-shaped” attacking adjustment that created more space for Morgan Rogers in the final third - an approach that proved crucial in setting up Watkins’ winning goal.
