Concours d'Elegance Youth Judges at Ault Park Concours in Cincinnati

Junior judges visited the 2011 Ault Park Concours d'Elegance car display to learn about the classic collector car hobby and how vehicles are judged for authenticity. In this video, Monica Janning explains the features of her Best in Class vintage fire truck to the youngsters. The truck is a beautifully restored 1922 American La France Type 75. The Youth Judging Program is conducted by Hagerty Insurance Company at concours d'elegance events across the country to create interest in vintage cars and trucks with the younger generation.

After a busy morning examining cars and fire engines, the young judges chose as their favorite a 1950 Packard Eight Station Sedan.

Other concours d'elegance shows that support Hagerty Junior Judges include: Amelia Island, Radnor Hunt (Philadelphia), Art of the Car (Kansas City), Hershey, St. Michaels (Maryland), Dayton (Ohio), Kirkland (Tacoma), Salisbury (Des Moines), and the Concours of America at St. John's in Michigan (formerly Meadowbrook).
