Officially kicking off the Christmas season, this 121st edition of the Original Santa Claus Parade will feature a stunning array of diverse, beautifully decorated floats, lively bands, spirited marchers, and Celebrity Clowns.

Since 1905, the Santa Claus Parade has kicked off the Christmas season, first in Toronto, then for the whole country as it has grown in popularity and importance throughout the years. The Parade brings people together, regardless of their background, celebrating hope, family and love. It’s part of the fabric of our community.

Every year we bring hundreds of thousands of people on the streets of Toronto, and millions more watching at home, together to celebrate this joyous season. We’ve been doing so uninterrupted for more than a centuary, and that’s exactly what we will be doing again this year, bringing Santa’s magic to town.

2025 Season
The Original Santa Claus Parade marks the official start to the holiday season, and this year, the Parade will feature 27 stunning hand-painted and creatively themed floats, the always-popular Celebrity Clowns and talented marching bands and performers to captivate the hearts of parade-goers.
Notable highlights for this year include:
New floats making their debut: These include a LEGO float, alongside creative expressions from Nintendo of Canada Ltd., Nutella and Uncle Tetsu. Fan favourites from Toronto Caribbean Carnival and the Indigenous Creation Story will also return this year, and as always, the ever-popular Celebrity Clowns will energize the crowds all along the Parade route.
In addition to our fabulous hosts, beautiful floats, and special guests, this year’s parade will feature amazing holiday music and entertainment by some of the greatest groups around: Queens University Pipes and Drums Band, North Toronto Collegiate Institute, Attica Senior High School Marching Band, St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Secondary School, Banda Do Senhor Santo Cristo of Toronto, Ridley College Cadet Corps Band #162, University of Western Ontario Marching Band, Father Bressani Catholic High School Marching Band and Drumline, Mariachi Los Gallos from Canada, McMaster Marching Band, Lady Godiva Memorial Band, Salvation Army Band, Philippine Heritage Band, Gayly Forward, Toronto All Stars Steel Orchestra, Malvern Collegiate Institute, De La Salle Oaklands, Burlington Teen Tour Band and more.
