In this video, I take you on a chilly walking tour around Hatagaya, a quiet little neighborhood in Shibuya, Tokyo — just steps away from my hotel. Along the way, I stumbled upon two of the uniquely designed Tokyo Toilets and wandered into the peaceful Yoyogi Ōyama Park.
Halfway through, I switch jackets (bad idea) — and the mic started picking up some annoying noise. Sorry about that! I’m still figuring things out and learning as I go. 🙏
It was absolutely freezing this day 🥶… I had to stop and blow my nose a few times, lol. But even with the cold, this area left a great impression. Hatagaya has a cozy, local vibe and it’s close enough to all the main spots without feeling crowded. I'd definitely stay here again.
