Announced alongside a completely different GBC game which saw release in 2001 in Europe only. The GBA version was planned for an October 2002 release but was cancelled for unknown reasons.
The game plays somewhat similarly to the original 1988 arcade game and is playable from start to finish, though lacking some polish (i.e. the flamethrower can instakill some bosses, some dodgy collision that allowed me to accidentally skip a section of the level @23:20 and there is at least one point where you can softlock @37:20). Surprisingly enjoyable, though being that you control RoboCop, he is slow and the platforming is janky (not helped by the odd perspective used at times, making it unclear what you can and can't jump on/walk past).
