Trance Dance was a Swedish rock-infused pop band that formed in the mid 80s as a seven-piece group fronted by singer Ben Marlene and sisters Susanne and Yvonne Holmström on backing vocals. The other members were Pelle Hökengren a.k.a. Pelle Pop (guitars), Per Johan Widestrand (keyboards), Johan Stark (bass) and Sören Johansson (drums). Produced by the band themselves, "Joy Toy" was the follow-up single to their huge hit "You're Gonna Get It" and was the third single taken from their second album "Dancing In The Shadows". This extended 12" version of the song was remixed by Emil Hellman and released in Sweden by CBS (651577 6) in 1988.
