Plein Air Pastel Painting on Cold Misty River Morning

Cold Fall Mornings on the Delaware River means cloud cover will hover about and create interesting light affects. I did my best to capture the moment in pastel on sanded paper this morning. 9“ x 12“ various brands of soft pastel on Uart sanded paper. This view is accessible just above the boat launch at Kittatinny Point in Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area
