«Why IMO these are players worth checking out their play»
An execution GOD who is a true fighting game OG, doing it since Street Fighter 2, and maybe the thus far peak of FAV|sako's competitive career was winning the first Capcom Cup (2013 SF4) all with their high execution Evil Ryu! One of the many Japanese players who have largely been concentrating on Street Fighter League Japan through out these 3 Seasons of competitive SF6! And Team FAV with FAV|sako as the captain, ended up winning the first SFL JP for Street Fighter 6 in 2023! Season 2 wasn't great for Team FAV, but currently in the Season 3 competition, which is about 3 quarters through the Round Robin stage, Team FAV is 3-5 and 40 points out of the last qualifying spot in Division S. But they'll have an amazing shot to rise through the standings, as they're literally facing the 3rd, 2nd and 1st place teams in these final 3 weeks of the regular season of SFL JP, so really they have every opportunity to put their fate in their own hands!

They stepped into the arena with their FAV teammate, on this all FAV team (where in previous years they've brought in unaffiliated ringers), a proven player who's had a penchant of being an early adaptor of characters and FAV|Fujimura certainly looks like they'll be taking on C. Viper the same way they did with Akuma and Mai! Showing their power level early in SF6 in Season 1 with a 7th/8th finish at EVO 2023, 7th/8th at the CPT 2023 Singapore Offline, and a 2nd place finish at the first Japan World Warrior in the CPT 2023 season! Some other notable results Top 96 at EVO Japan 2025 and its stacked 7K+ player bracket, Top 64 at EVO 2024, Top 16 at CPT 2024 Japan Super Premier, and continue their track record of solid/good Japan World Warrior event results, they had a Top 12 finish a the first CPT 2025 Japan World Warrior Event! With 18 points currently on the board for the World Warrior and 2 Events to go, it's very much a good possibility that they'll be able to catch one of the 8 Region Final spots, with the current occupiers of the 7th and 8th having 38 and 35 points. And of course the next 3 weeks will be important for Team FAV, them progressing in SFL JP being completely in their hands!
