One of my foreign friends is very accident-prone. She’s had several near misses. She was hit by a car — her yellow-plated car was completely flattened, but she crawled out alive. She also slipped on ice and ended up in bandages for months. Recently, she slipped and hit a concrete block in a garden, which landed her in the hospital for a few days.

He’s well-known for wearing a suit made of recycled materials.
I read that in Furano there are houses made out of recycled materials. They were set buildings for the Japanese TV show Kita no Kuni Kara (From the North Country). The houses were creatively built using a variety of repurposed materials from the show's setting, such as an old bus and cars from the Furano ski area, and are now open to the public as a tourist attraction.
