For my second day trip during my trip in Japan, I decided to head up to the Japanese Alps and explore the famous city of Takayama! Takayama is a small city of less than 100k people but is famous for visiting the Japanese Alps and for food!
Takayama is located in the Hida Province so one of the famous foods available is Hida beef, so I knew I had to try lots of beef dishes during my visit! Takayama also has a well known regional style of ramen but sadly I did not have the opportunity to try it this time. All of the food I tried was absolutely wonderful though and I loved this city!
