DIY Macrame Easy Friendship Bracelet | Square Knot Bracelet | Hemptique

How to make a beautiful friendship bracelet. This pattern is made with square knots and overhand knots, making it the perfect craft for a beginner. This bracelet can be tied onto your wrist, or your ankle, with a simple knot. Please see below for the materials and written instructions.

Instructions:

1) Take all 4 cords and tie them together with an overhand knot. Leave about 4 in. of cord on the end.

2) Secure the cords to a flat surface and arrange the cords so the two solid colors are in the middle and the magical cords are on the left and right.

3) Take the 4 cords and begin tying square knots. Continue tying square knots until it is long enough to fit around your wrist, about 5 – 8 in. of knots.

4) Secure the last square knot by tying all 4 cords in an overhand knot.

5) Trim the ends to match the top half.

6) Tie all the ends (8 cords total) in overhand knots to prevent any potential fraying.

7) The bracelet is now complete and can be tied onto the wrist or ankle.
