Making slime with my 7 year old!
Recipe:
Equal parts glue/slime, but it's very easy to scale up (or down) this way! Plus borax solution added in 5-10ml increments.
I used
1/2 cup white Elmer's glue
1/2 cup water
10-25ml of borax solution (see below)
drops of food coloring
Borax Solution:
1tsp of borax
1cup of warm water (I microwaved it for 30 seconds)
Stir and dissolve
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT add this WHOLE mixture to your slime. Add a little bit of the borax solution at at time, stirring in-between.
All in all, I added about 10-25ml of borax solution to this recipe (less makes it more sticky, gooey, slimy. More makes it less sticky, more rubbery, cut-able)
