Almost landing in a lake? From 5000ft?!

Join me for an exhilarating 300km wave flight as we race up and down a stunning wave bar in midwinter conditions! The bar started out perfectly defined, but after a rough start, I finally managed to get into the groove.

Chris, flying his sleek Arcus M, overtook me early on, but the real excitement came on the return leg when the cloud thickened to 6/8ths. Chris opted for a northern route, while Ian in his LAK and I decided to push slightly further south. This strategic choice led to a thrillingly fast eastward run.

This video was filmed using an Insta360 X4 shooting at 8K, 30 FPS, and an iPhone 15 Pro shooting 4K, 60 FPS, capturing all the action in stunning detail.
