New Zealand defeated India by 41 runs in the 3rd ODI to win their first-ever ODI series on Indian soil by a margin of 2-1 on January 18, 2026, at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. New Zealand set a target of 338 runs, to which India replied with a fighting effort that ultimately fell short.
