Folding terry towels as a gift
Terry towels are handy if you’re not a big fan of paper towels and producing a lot of waste. They are reusable, absorb a lot of liquid and you can use them for many purposes. This mommy hack will show you how to fold terry towels as a gift or how to make laundry days more fun.
You will need terry towels preferably in size 50×70 cm, one big and two smaller rubber bands and some satin ribbons.
Teddy Bear
To fold a teddy bear, make sure the label or the hanging eyelet is on the left side.
Fold the left side of the towel over to the center line.
Curl the towel up to the center from both sides.
Hold the roll firmly and turn it around on the table.
Make sure that the thicker part remains on the left!
Supporting the towel with your right hand, fold the left half of the towel back to its initial position.
Make a twist between the thicker and the thinner part.
Flip the right half of the towel over the twist to the left and fix the neck of the teddy bear using the bigger rubber band.
Form hands, body, and the head.
Use smaller rubber bands to make the ears for the teddy.
Tie a satin ribbon around the teddy bear’s neck.
