Today's sewing tutorial comes with a free printable PDF sewing pattern for making bikini bottoms and/or underpants for 18 inch dolls like American Girl and Our Generation dolls (and it fits many other dolls in this size range). My patterns for these dolly panties are available in A4 printer paper and American printer paper PDF sewing pattern formats.

If you don't own a sewing machine, you can always make your doll's swimsuit bottoms or underpants by hand, and for that, I recommend using a backstitch. For my backstitch tutorial, here's a link that will help you:
