DETAILS:
La Mesa Police along with Heartland Fire-Rescue responded to what was reported as a vehicle rollover near the I-8 freeway and Jackson Dr.
Upon arrival, units encountered a vehicle that had rolled over and landed back on it’s wheels.
The female driver was evaluated by medical personnel but refused medical treatment.
The female driver stated that she struck a curb while driving.
The vehicle was traveling Westbound Murray Dr. towards Jackson Dr. and rolled over after striking a high curb of a median.
Officers searched the nearby area but could not find any further damage.
The female agreed to perform several field sobriety tests.
After being given a breathalyzer test, it was determined that she was under the influence and was arrested without incident.
