LOCATION: SB I-5 JNO 10th Ave exit
AREA/CITY: San Diego
DETAILS:
For an unknown reason, the male driver of the Hyundai crashed into the right-shoulder wall of the southbound I-5 at a high rate of speed.
U.S. Border Patrol Agents happened to see the crash, stopped, and pulled the injured male from the vehicle.
The male was transported to a local hospital for his unknown injuries. The victim will be tested for DUI at the hospital.
Southbound traffic was stopped, while debris was removed from the traffic lanes and flares were being set up. The CHP is investigating.
