This song, written by Jethro Burns, is a fun, unique piece. He called it "Jethro's Tune."
For much of his career, Jethro played a customized 1960s Gibson A-5 mandolin. The 1967 A-5 that I'm playing in this video is special to me for two reasons: (1) it is a great sounding example and (2) it was formerly owned by my mandolin teacher, Jeff Foxall. He would often play this mandolin during lessons when I was younger. I'm happy to continue learning tunes on it!
