ARMY couldn't get over Hobi's abs during the "Killin' It Girl" era. And the lucky girl who got to touch them.

For those who didn't know, Hobi's dance partner in "Killin' It Girl" is Alyssa Santos. She's a dancer and a nail expert/technician. Just like the whole "Killin' it Girl" crew, Alyssa was handpicked by Hobi himself. I love watching their first introduction as they had no idea how much impact their duo would have after the release of Hobi's third solo.

The choreography needed a romantic moment between Hobi and Alyssa. Hobi was a bit shy about it, since this would be a first for him to do a sensual choreo with a partner. But Alyssa knew exactly what to do to break the ice, and it worked! During their first rehearsal together, Hobi was more focused on the choreography than the romantic connection. But we could already see their chemistry. But how did this "awkward" moment turn into this? Some speculated that a special something was brewing between Hobi and Alyssa. The truth is... It's called professional acting.

You see, the description of "Killin' It Girl" said it all. If Hobi and Alyssa made you believe they have a romantic connection, then they successfully did their job. During the behind-the-scenes, a staff member could be seen asking Hobi if they could do it one more time, which he instantly agreed to. I pointed this out to show that Hobi and Alyssa had no time to catch feelings during these performances because everything is calculated. Their main purpose was to give the best show for the audience. The next scene captured Hobi and Alyssa's real status. Yep. Hobi treated Alyssa just like how he treated the rest of his "Killin' It Girl" crew. A professional idol and dancer relationship. In the end, Hobi went to the people he did this for, his beloved ARMY. Please bear in mind that Hobi is one of the most professional artists in the industry, so falling in love on the dance floor is never an option. As for Alyssa, she worked hard to reach where she is today, so ruining all that by falling in love with an idol is quite reckless.

Hobi and Alyssa connected through their love for their craft, which became the foundation of their chemistry on stage. You can see them go in and out of their characters.
