C-GYXQ is a Zenair Zodiac 601XL-B that was built in 2003 and was never painted. Finally, as the second owner, took the leap and did a full DuPont ELITE SS Aircraft paint system. 4 stages. Acid etched and burnished and cleaned, METALOK Etching primer, DuPont DTM Epoxy primer followed by DuPont (Axalta now) Custom formulated IMRON Single Stage Polyurethane. Came out like GLASS! Blair Decker is the painter, and what a great guy! HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!
