‘GUSTO NILA MAGULO ANG KWENTO’
Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto has urged the public to be "vigilant" and "discerning" after contractors Curlee and Sarah Discaya revealed the names of several congressmen, their staff, and officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) who allegedly received kickbacks from flood control and other government projects.
“In our experience with them (the Discayas)… these are people who are really capable of lying without batting an eyelash. We have to be very careful in how we proceed," Sotto said during a House hearing on Tuesday, Sept. 9.
While he has no doubt that some of the names the Discayas disclosed “were probably true," Sotto said the couple needs to "present evidence.” #IMTNEWS
