A "G" 1/29 scale 42 car coal train is pulled by two Aristo-Craft Dash 9s and two Wisconsin Central SD45s emulating a prototype cooperative of the 1990s. "Stringlining" occurs at 2 places on curves. With 4 cars removed, the train did not stringline. All locos and cars are equipped with Kadee centerset (no offset) body mount couplers. The Dash 9s are equipped with Datum Precision CNC machined metal coupler boxes that accept Kadee couplers. The hoppers are mostly Aristo 100 ton cars but for 4 AML Bethgons. Two SP 100 ton hoppers have "CamPac" 3-D printed resin boxes that also accept Kadee couplers, whereas, all other hoppers have Kadee 906 couplers fastened via spacers and a special metal "J" clip to secure the floor to the end sill - preventing flex. (The CamPac 3-D printed coupler boxes are also designed to secure the floor to end sill.)
