KREMPITA –VANILA KREM KOCKE
Za biskvit je potrebno:
7 žumanaca
1 cijelo jaje
5 velikih kašika šećera (80 gr)
5 velikih kašika mekog brašna (55 gr)
1 prašak za pecivo (12 gr)
Za kremu je potrebno:
7 bjelanaca
9 velikih kašika šećera (140 gr)
4 vrećice pudinga od vanilije (svaka je 37 gr praha za puding)
1 litar vode
Umutiti žumanca i jedno jaje pjenasto, dodati šećer i mutiti dok se šećer ne rastopi.
Brašno i prašak za pecivo umiješati špatulom da se lijepo sjedini u glatku masu.
Izliti u dobro namašten i brašnom posut kalup.
Peći na 190°C 15-20 minuta. Dobije se spužvast biskvit.
Neka se malo prohladi, zarezati nožem i lagano prstima odvojiti gornji dio da dobijemo 2 kore.
Za kremu mutiti bjelanca u čvrst snijeg.
Prah za puding pomiješati sa šećerom i 2 dl hladne vode da se dobije krema bez grudvica. 8 dl vode staviti da zakuha.
U kipuću vodu polako ulijevati tečan puding i brzo miješati da se zgusne.
Dovoljno je samo 1 do 2 minuta. Brzo se primi za dno posude.
Odmah vruć puding ulijevati u snijeg od bjelanaca i mutiti mikserom dok se sve ne spoji u finu kremu.
Kremu izliti na donji dio biskvita.
Pokriti gornjim biskvitom i posuti šećerom u prahu.
Dobro ohladiti prije posluživanja, a najmanje 2 sata.
CREAMPIE – VANILLA CREAM CUBES
For the biscuit:
7 egg yolks
1 whole egg
5 tablespoons of sugar (80gr)
5 tablespoons of flour (55gr)
1 packet of baking powder (12gr)
For the cream:
7 egg whites
9 tablespoons of sugar (140gr)
4 packets of vanilla pudding powder (each packet is 37gr of powder)
1 liter of water
Mix the egg yolks and one egg until foamy, add sugar and mix until it dissolves.
Fold in the flower and baking powder with a spatula so it combines into a smooth cream.
Pour out into a baking pan that you've previously coated with butter and flour.
Bake on 190 degrees Celsius for 15-20 minutes. The biscuit will be light and spongy.
When it cools, carefully cut it down the middle to make two equal biscuit layers.
For the cream, mix the egg whites until firm.
In a separate bowl mix the pudding powder with 2dl of water and make sure there are no powder clumps.
Bring the remaining 8dl of water to a boil and pour the pudding into it.
Mix fast by hand with an egg beater until you get the right consistency,
shouldn't take longer than 1-2 minutes.
Pour the hot pudding directly into the egg whites and mix with a hand mixer until you get a consistent, smooth cream,
Wash the pan you used to bake the biscuit.
To layer the cake, put one biscuit layer into the bottom of the pan,
pour over the cream then top off with the second biscuit layer.
Dust some powdered sugar over it. Cool for at least two hours before serving.
