Watercolor Penguins Using the Wet on Wet Technique

In our first tutorial of the new year, I chose to paint penguins using the wet on wet technique.
I intend to do a lot of paintings that capture the real beauty and spontaneity of watercolor, by using lots of water and focusing less on detail. I really hope you try this because this technique is a lot easier than it looks. Enjoy!

Fabriano Artistico Paper
Silver Black Velvet Brushes Size 12, 8 and 4
Master’s Touch Detail Brush Size 10/0
Lamp Black – Holbein, Indigo – Daniel Smith, Cobalt Blue Hue – PWC ShinHan
Turquoise – Holbein, Pyrrole Orange – QOR, Cadmium Yellow – Paul Rubens
