Built from parts, this is the sound of the very early bronze tab Leslie S3L's that were in production from 1953 to 1955. During that time the 25 and 31 bells were cast in two pieces and welded together. In late 1956 the 25 switched to a single piece version, followed by the 31 in 1958. Bronze tabs changed to aluminum tabs in 1957.
