A lesson explaining WHAT the match equity table* is, WHY it is useful and HOW to remember it using Neil's numbers.
When deciding on cube decisions, always consider your current match winning chances and the MWC at the new scores you may be at if you win or lose. Are you at risk of losing too much or could you gain a lot? The match equity table is basically a tool to help you weigh up these risk/reward calculations over the board.
You can also recognise MWC patterns on the MET such as the ones I have put below:
5a/1a 15%
5a/2a 25%
5a/3a 35%
3a/2a 40%
2a/3a 60%
3a/5a 64%
2a/5a 74%
1a/5a 84%
4a/2a 33%
2a/4a 66%
2a/1a 32%
1a/2a 67%
*The match equity table is available to view on XG under "Analyse" in top menu. If you don't have XG, you can search online for a copy of the table.
