What do you do when you're Lauren at MAGFest on Saturday night and you've already played shows with three bands? Clearly, while everybody else is partying and/or listening to loud music, you decide to have a jam session at midnight in the hallway.
FFIX happens to be one of my favorite games in the world. Please forgive me for my wrong notes but I was playing this by ear and had to figure out the notes as I went along! Also it was probably 1 a.m. and it had been a long few days. :)
The World Is Square is a fantastically fun Square-Enix cover band based out of Boston. They're pretty unique in the VGM scene because they play mostly acoustic folk covers. I love them so much. At Nerdapalooza 2012, I had a midnight jam session with Lauren Michelle and Josh (the guitars). We decided to do one better at MAG and bring their whole band on board.
