Two sailor pens, both compass 1911s. One filled with De Atramentis Document Brown and the other filled with Visconti Sepia Brown. I want to compare the ease of cleaning the permanent document brown compared to the water soluble Visconti Sepia Brown. When I’m done I may as well service the piston converters for both pens using a little silicon grease.
I have been using both pens for about five months containing these inks. Both pens have been refilled a couple of times over the course of the summer from June 2021 to October 2021.
Not a huge amount of time but enough to see some minor results of prolonged use with both a water-soluble Ink from Visconti and a permanent document Ink from De Atrementis.
